Then Dawson, Eli, Brynne and Crusoe slept in the tent in our backyard.
It was a cold, windy night. But they had a really great time! They were equipped with gold fish crackers, drinks, toys, stuffed animals, their Nintendos and a dvd player ... all the necessary things for a backyard campout. Eli wanted to know if it was me "making that shadow". It was.

We did this last summer. Didn't get to it this year, but we are going camping next weekend. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI can guarantee you that this experience will stay with your kids FOREVER. Sometimes it's the smallest things can be the most enjoyable. It's all about just TAKING THE TIME to stop and "smell the smores". Good for you!
