Menu Plan Monday

Sometimes when I'm taking Eli to school I'll hear a song on the radio that takes me back ... WAAAAAAYYYYY back, and makes me smile (and sing loudly)! This morning I heard the 80's hair band ballad High Enough by Damn Yankees. Man, I loved that song! That has nothing to do with our menu this week, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Now, here's our menu.

Monday ~ Grilled pork chops, linquine and asparagus

Tuesday ~ Baked talapia with slivered almonds and rice

Wednesday ~ FFY

Thursday ~ Dawson's "end-of-the-unit" meal, using lots of fresh herbs

Friday ~ Turkey enchiladas

Saturday ~ Calzones

Sunday ~ Breakfast for dinner

  1. I'm going to attempt enchiladas for the first time next week! I bought everything I need, so here's hoping they turn out good!

  2. I'm making enchiladas this week too! I'll be posting my recipe for them after I snag a pic. We love the green sauce :-)

BTW, thanks for the homeschooling encouragement. As many times as it revisits my heart, it HAS to be what we're meant to do. I'm still undecided on whether I'll create my own curriculum or go with Connections Academy {since they do all the necessary testing and there will be less battles} but I'm pretty sure this is the road we're taking.

  3. my band and I still listen to them weekly (heck daily) is Pearl Jam. Been listening to Eddie Vedder's solo stuff lately! LOVE Eddie Vedder! I go for that scruffy grunge long haired guy. How did I end up with a computer programmer to scared to get a tattoo due to his mom would be mad and the pain :) hehehe! I told him I have 1 they don't hurt.
