Pensacola ... Here We Come!!!

It's official ... my parents now own a 3-bedroom vacation home in Pensacola, Florida, that is walking distance to this little beach on the bay. They got the keys last night and are busy furnishing it and painting it today.

And we are now packing for our Spring Break trip! The kids are so, so excited! (And I might be looking forward to it, too!)

It's a long drive, one that we plan to do overnight on the way down there so the kids can sleep. But on the way home we will make the trip during the day. I have a tried-and-true system for surviving long car trips, using tips from the book Sanity in the Summertime by Linda Dillow and Claudia Arp (two of my favorite Christian women).
