Outside my window... frost on the windows .. it's soooo cold! (and that makes me happy!)
I am thinking... about how cute and sweet my niece is, and how I wish I could see my other one who lives in Oregon.
I am thankful ... for a husband who is a great budgeter. I doubt he is as thankful for me.
I am wearing... the warmest clothes I can find.
I am planning... lesson plans .. always lesson plans. Working on an Arctic Animals unit that I am doing in cooperative with some other bloggers.
I am creating... Christmas gifts. One down, 10 to go.
I am going... to hit the couch by about 3:30 this afternoon to watch some Christmas movies with the kids and relax. I do that on Tuesday nights!
I am reading... Cage of Stars by Jacquelyn Mitchard, Stepping Heavenward by Mrs. E. Prentiss (want to finish this soon), Stuart Little by E.B. White (Eli and Brynne's read-a-loud).
I am praying... for the family of one of our cub scout leaders who was killed in a car accident last week. It's a tough time for them and all the boys in the pack.
From the learning rooms... Working on rhyming this week, and we started a mini-unit on atoms and molecules to get ready for a unit on electricity (for a product we are reviewing).
Noticing that ... I forgot to post a supply list last Friday on a blog series I am hosting on my homeschooling blog. Ooops!
From the kitchen... more health-related dietary changes, this time for me. Brynne has shown improvement with her changes. Now I am moving toward the Mediterranean Diet in hopes that it will help with my joint inflammation.
Around the house... is evidence of our advent activities.
One of my favorite things... seeing the excitement of traditions in my kids.
A few plans for the rest of the week... Today we will have lunch at my mom's, and then Dawson has a meeting at church about a part-time job. Tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday will be very quiet, except for church Wednesday night. I am headed back to Oklahoma on Saturday morning to attend Rick's office Christmas party, but then will be back by Sunday afternoon for the kids' Christmas program at church.
