I hate organizing the playroom! I have to do a full reorganization about twice a year. It's one of those rooms that I stand in the middle of for about 30 minutes not knowing where to start. Once I get started I have to just keep telling myself, "Just keep moving. Just keep moving." This time it was so bad I had to space it out over three days to keep myself from going insane! I also took apart the majority of the school room part of the playroom, because we have found that we do the most of our school work downstairs in the living room and kitchen. So, part of the organization included moving a shelf and all of our supplies and curriculum downstairs to the closet under our staircase.
But it is done. I sorted the toys back into their appropriate buckets and stored the majority of them in the storage room. They will find their way back into the playroom eventually. For now, though, we have only kept out a few buckets of toys for each of them, their typical favorites.
One major project down, many more to go.
