Outside my window... it's a snowy start to 2013!
I am thinking... about grabbing another cup of coffee.
I am thankful ... for the 50+ pounds of meat that my dad delivered to our freezer a couple of weeks ago.
I am wearing... my pjs and robe, and it's almost noon. Happy New Year!
I am planning... some lessons. At least I better get started. The new semester starts next week.
I am creating... Who am I kidding? Nothing! I am numb from the busy holidays.
I am going... to get my hair cut and colored today. I can't wait!
I am reading... Comfort and Joy by Kristin Hannah.
I am praying... for all the needs of my TOS (The Old Schoolhouse) friends. Do you ever pay attention to the needs of others? It's easy to gloss over prayer requests, making judgments that they are "small" needs. But, to those asking for prayer, they are "huge". I've been spending some time praying for each of the needs I read.
From the learning rooms... NO school for a few more days! On Thursday and Friday this week we are going to do some reading catchup and start our Arctic Animals unit. Next week we will get back into the full swing of things.
Noticing that ... We are going to have an incredibly difficult time getting back into our "regular" sleep schedule.
From the kitchen... I am taking it easy on grocery purchasing. Is anybody else sick of spending money? We are eating what we have and then only buying what we need.
Around the house... are no more Christmas decorations.
One of my favorite things... is my hibernation period that starts TODAY! I always look forward to January when we can just STOP for a while.
A few plans for the rest of the week... As little as possible.
