I kind of got my wish this morning, about having a pj day ... Eli woke up with a red, goopy eye. It looks like a cold in his eye, as he has a bit of a stuffy nose, also. But figuring he would be promptly sent home from school, I just kept him home.
I enjoyed having him here. He mostly played, but did join us for our glue fossil project. We also were able to get his spelling words practiced and his reading done early in the day which let us have a relaxing afternoon instead of one packed with after-school work.
